Best in Texas: Jordan, Lynch & Cancienne Partners Named 2021 Texas Super Lawyers

Jordan, Lynch & Cancienne is pleased to announce that partners Kevin Jordan, Michael Cancienne and Alaina King Benford have been named to the 2021 list of Texas Super Lawyers, a legal guide that recognizes the top attorneys in the state.

The 2021 listing, which honors no more than 5 percent of Texas attorneys each year, recognizes Mr. Jordan for his Personal Injury work for defendants, Mr. Cancienne for Business Litigation, and Ms. King Benford for her work in Eminent Domain Litigation.

“Every day, we make a commitment to put our clients’ needs first and foremost,” said Mr. Jordan. “That commitment is at the heart of everything we do, and I believe this recognition is ultimately a reflection of that – That’s really something special.”

Mr. Jordan represents both plaintiffs and defendants in state and federal venues across the country. He often works with clients in the chemical and oil and gas industries, many times when the cases involve commercial issues, trade secrets or technology.

Mr. Cancienne has an impressive record of success in a wide range of commercial matters across multiple jurisdictions. He focuses his practice on representing companies as plaintiffs and defendants in a wide range of contractual disputes and in disputes involving business torts.

Ms. Benford regularly represents global companies and municipal and transportation authorities in cases involving commercial disputes, pipeline and industrial safety, and wrongful death and catastrophic personal industry matters.

This is the latest honor for Mr. Jordan, Mr. Cancienne and Ms. King Benford, who recently earned recognition in another highly respected peer-review attorney guide – The Best Lawyers in America.

Super Lawyers, owned by Thomson Reuters, makes selections based on a patented multiphase process that combines peer nominations and evaluations with independent research. The 2021 list will be published in the November issues of Super Lawyers and Texas Monthly magazines. For a full list visit www.superlawyers.com.
