Kevin Jordan, Walter Lynch, Michael Cancienne boast efficient, flexible trial practice
HOUSTON – Three seasoned trial lawyers with Big Law credentials have launched the Houston civil trial boutique of Jordan, Lynch & Cancienne PLLC to bring their creative solutions and courtroom savvy to businesses on both the plaintiff and defense sides.
The three partners combined have tried more than 60 cases to verdict including high-stakes wins for major corporations. All three were partners at Baker Botts LLP prior to founding Jordan, Lynch & Cancienne PLLC. Co-founder Kevin Jordan was a senior partner at Baker Botts and has litigated cases in 23 states, appearing in courtrooms from Massachusetts to California.
“We have a broad base of subject matter experience trying cases before juries. That is not the norm,” said Mr. Jordan. “We know how to shape and mold a case to achieve a successful jury verdict.”
The firm’s lawyers have handled all types of commercial litigation with a focus on products liability and disputes involving construction, trade secrets, and catastrophic personal injury claims. For more information, visit https://jlcfirm.com/.
“We have the breadth of experience to litigate the same types of cases big firms are handling, and we look forward to continuing to try cases for our clients,” said co-founder Walter Lynch, who has established a reputation for trying defense cases in notoriously difficult jurisdictions.
Firm partner Michael Cancienne noted that “it is increasingly important to offer fee structures that align incentives. Because of that, we offer the full spectrum of fee structures, including fixed fees, success bonuses and contingency fees.”
The three co-founders are joined by Amir Halevy and Susan Thomas, who also spent more than 25 years combined at Baker Botts.
