Jordan, Lynch & Cancienne Strengthens Commercial Litigation Practice with Addition of Brittainie Zinsmeyer

Jordan, Lynch & Cancienne is pleased to announce that Brittainie Zinsmeyer has joined the firm as an associate attorney. The addition of Ms. Zinsmeyer bolsters the firm’s already robust commercial litigation practice.

“We are so pleased to welcome Brittainie to our team,” said Jordan, Lynch & Cancienne Partner Michael Cancienne. “Her particular strengths and abilities will be a tremendous asset to our firm and our clients. Her talents are obvious, and we are excited to have her on our team.”

As part of the Jordan, Lynch & Cancienne team of lawyers, Ms. Zinsmeyer will focus her practice on commercial litigation, including construction and insurance matters. She will also assist the team in working closely with firm clients to fully understand their case needs.

Ms. Zinsmeyer comes to Jordan, Lynch & Cancienne after spending two years as a law clerk for U.S. District Judge David Hittner in the Southern District of Texas. During her clerkship, she worked on multiple jury trials, analyzed motions, drafted opinions, and conducted research on a number of legal issues. The experience also provided her with a unique look inside federal trial procedure and the jury system, which she now uses to assist her clients.

Ms. Zinsmeyer maintains memberships in several professional organizations, including the Houston Bar Association and the Houston Young Lawyers Association.

She received her law degree from the University of Houston Law Center and her bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin.
