Jordan, Lynch & Cancienne Attorney Sydney Rupe Passes Louisiana Bar Exam

Jordan, Lynch & Cancienne is pleased to announce that JLC associate Sydney Rupe has passed the Louisiana State Bar Association exam and is now licensed to practice law in Louisiana. 

“We are so pleased for Sydney and excited for what this means for our firm,” said Jordan, Lynch & Cancienne partner Kevin Jordan. “We continue to work with more and more clients in Louisiana, and we are fortunate to have another lawyer on our team who is able to assist them.” 

Ms. Rupe, who joined Jordan, Lynch & Cancienne in April 2023, is now admitted to practice in Texas, Louisiana, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, and the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Louisiana. She focuses her practice on commercial litigation and has extensive experience handling high-stakes cases involving topics from trade secrets and energy industry disputes to products liability.  

Ms. Rupe also has an active pro bono practice in the criminal and racial justice spaces, where she works on cases involving mass incarceration, juvenile and racial justice, and capital punishment.  

She is a graduate of Vanderbilt Law School.
